For lovers of cross country skiing, Courmayeur offers from November until May, the splendid slopes of Val Ferret, one of the two valleys that follow the profile of Mont Blanc range.

The departure station of ski slopes in Plampencieux can be reached by bus and unfolds along the entire valley, until Lavachey.

The slopes which are always traced and beat, foresee numerous variations and deviations with which it is possible to extend or shorten basic itineraries, thus skiing: for 3, 5, 10, 15, and 20 kilometres on a particularly varied terrain, suitable for this type of sport.
